Swifty supported by Dara Mactire and cross realm players from his Twitch livestream formed multiple raid groups with the intention of attacking and destroying the Orgrimmar, the capital city of the Horde faction. Ruin Gaming rapidly formed a defense to meet the threat. Unprepared for strong opposition Swifty’s forces were rapidly defeated. Further battles occurred on the Isle of Quel’Danas resulting in additional Horde victories.

Following a month of heavy fighting against overwhelming odds Ruin Gaming achieved a final decisive victory. To those who fought on both sides of the conflict we salute you! World PvP has never been more active on Darkspear. Regular battles involving hundreds of players have made for a challenging and rewarding experience and nightly entertainment.

Fighting on Darkspear has reached unprecedented levels! Swifty, Sodapoppin and Chinglish as well as raid groups from Iron Alliance formed a large force to attack the Horde at the Shrine of Two Moons. Despite the sheer size of the Alliance attacking force the United Darkspear Horde was victorious.

Across Draenor’s savage jungles and battle-scarred plains, Azeroth’s heroes will engage in a mythic conflict involving mystical draenei champions and mighty orc clans, and cross axes with the likes of Grommash Hellscream, Blackhand, and Ner’zhul at the height of their primal power. Players will need to scour this unwelcoming land in search of allies to help build a desperate defense against the old Horde’s formidable engine of conquest—or else watch their own world’s bloody, war-torn history repeat itself.

Ruin will maintain our Alliance presence on the Kil’Jaeden server, in a reduced capacity. In response to the exodus of the major Alliance progression raid and rated battle ground guilds from Kil’Jaeden there has been growing pressure to select an alternative server for Ruin.

World PvP has died off on the Kil’Jaeden server in the last several months, leaving Ruin with few adversaries and free reign over virtually undefended Horde cities. We will be joined by new and old allies alike as we take on the Alliance of Darkspear.

Garrosh Hellscream’s reckless thirst for power has led him to do the unthinkable: from beneath the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, he has seized the desiccated heart of an Old God to use as a tool of war, unleashing horrors upon the sacred valley. The brazen warchief has also turned against other members of the Horde to create a purely orcish force of his own. Now this “true Horde” is amassing strength within Orgrimmar’s iron ramparts. With Garrosh bent on total victory, he plans to demonstrate the potency of the true Horde by conquering not just the Alliance but the whole of Azeroth.
