RUIN deploys to Azeroth on November 4. World of Warcraft: Forever is a permanent level-60 world: the original continents, no flying mounts, no level scaling, and the world itself as the main character. It rewards exactly what RUIN has practiced since 2004: large-scale coordinated play, loyalty, and collective competence over individual spectacle.

Deployment Overview

  • Faction: Alliance
  • Region: North America
  • Ruleset: PvP. Forever is realmless: you choose a ruleset instead of a realm.
  • Primary operational guild: RUIN (core command, doctrine, senior leadership, strategic high-value target assignment)
  • Supporting tags: RUINOUS, RUIN NATION, and additional guilds run through the Blizzard Community System for overflow, regional coordination, and specialized roles
  • Target scale: approximately ten thousand RUIN-affiliated characters across ten or more guilds and supporting tags at launch
  • Force structure: a World PvP army to contest key zones and objectives, plus a dedicated core raid-progression guild treating the 10- and 20-player raids as the primary organized PvE track

Veteran Members will join RUIN. Other recruits will join specialized branches, RUINOUS for World PVP and no interest in raiding, etc.

Which faction and ruleset is RUIN playing?

Alliance, on the North America PvP ruleset.

Is there a realm to pick?

No. Forever is realmless. Players choose a ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplaying, or the later Hardcore option) instead of a realm.

When can I reserve names?

October 27 through November 3, up to three characters.

Do I need a separate purchase to play?

Access is included with any active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. The Skyborne race is a paid add-on.

What is the level cap?

60, permanently. There are no flying mounts and no level scaling.

Is RUIN running PvE too?

Yes. A dedicated core raid-progression guild will run the 10- and 20-player raids.
