Embedded videos and linked content remain the property of their respective owners. Copyright and takedown requests. We will review notices and remove or correct material where appropriate. 5. Unofficial Fan Content and TrademarksRUIN Nation is an independent gaming community. The Site publishes unofficial fan content about games such as Star Citizen and World of Warcraft. RUIN is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher or developer, including Cloud Imperium Games / Roberts Space Industries and Blizzard Entertainment. All game names, trademarks, logos, and game assets belong to their respective owners. 6. Community Content and DiscordRUIN’s community activities take place mainly on Discord and other third-party platforms. When participating in RUIN spaces, treat others with respect; do not harass, threaten, or discriminate against others; do not share others’ personal information or private messages without permission; do not post illegal, infringing, or sexually explicit content; and follow the rules posted by RUIN moderators. RUIN may remove content or restrict participation in RUIN-run spaces for conduct that breaks these rules. Use of Discord is also governed by Discord’s Terms of Service. If you submit material to RUIN for publication, you confirm you have the right to share it and you allow RUIN to publish, edit, and display it in connection with RUIN’s media. RUIN obtains permission before publishing private communications or identifiable member submissions. 7. Platform Terms and Community ModerationRUIN keeps its community rules in line with the terms of the services our community uses. When you take part in RUIN activities on another platform, you must follow that platform’s terms and rules, including:

Where evidence is provided, RUIN may take appropriate moderation action against community members for violations of these platform terms or of RUIN’s own standards, whether the conduct occurs in games, on Discord, on streams, or elsewhere in RUIN spaces. Actions may include a warning, removal of roles, suspension, or removal from RUIN communities and events, and will be proportionate to the seriousness of the issue under RUIN’s moderation standards. RUIN does not enforce other platforms’ terms on their behalf. You may also report violations directly to the platform concerned. For activity on a platform, if that platform’s terms conflict with these Terms, the platform’s terms control. RUIN is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms. 8. AI-Assisted ContentRUIN may use AI tools to assist with research and drafting of public content. As an operating practice, a human at RUIN reviews and approves drafts before anything is published. Performance depends on your hardware, software, settings, and game updates, and manufacturer or publisher specifications are not RUIN test results unless stated. Game news, patch information, event details, and guides may change or become outdated.
