RUIN Gaming is a PvP-first, multi-game community. Our roots are in Diablo II, where we organized through Battle.net chat channels before official guild systems existed. We have played together for more than two decades, and today the whole organization runs on Discord.

We organize large-scale player-versus-player combat and progression raiding. We give members a clear way to grow into leaders. If you want to be part of something bigger than a single group, this page tells you where RUIN plays now and how to get in.

Where RUIN plays now (October 2026)

Our current lineup was confirmed at the October 13, 2026 guild meeting:

World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM Pacific. Blizzard runs Early Name Reservation from October 27 to November 3, for up to three characters, for players who bought a Forever upgrade. Forever is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. See the RUIN deployment page for the full plan.

How to join, step by step

1. Join the Discord: discord.gg/ruin. This is where every RUIN team organizes.
2. Tell us your game. Say hello and name the game or games you play, so an officer can route you.
3. Get your in-game invite.
   • World of Warcraft: Forever: ask an officer for an invite to the RUIN guild or one of its supporting tags.
   • Star Citizen: apply to RUINOUS on its RSI organization page.
   • Valheim and Conan Exiles: server details are shared with members in Discord.
4. Come to a meeting. The General Meeting runs every Tuesday at 6:00 PM Pacific on Discord. It’s the fastest way to meet the officers and learn what’s coming up.

What RUIN expects

• Respect. RUIN expects every member to treat other members with civility, respect and common courtesy.
• Participation. Our member standard is simple: show up, be seen, contribute.
• Teamwork over spectacle. RUIN’s identity rests on large-scale coordinated play, loyalty, and collective competence over individual spectacle.
• Real life first. If you need time away, tell an officer. Short and long absences are both fine.

What RUIN offers

• Organized large-scale PvP. In World of Warcraft: Forever, RUIN is fielding a World PvP force to contest key zones and objectives.
• Progression raiding. A dedicated core raid guild treats Forever’s 10- and 20-player raids as its main organized PvE track.
• A path to leadership. RUIN keeps clear progression structures so competence is visible and leadership is earned. Members who want to lead can ask in Discord about officer training.
• A long memory. For more than two decades, the weekly meeting has given RUIN continuity and accountability. The notes are public in the guild meeting archive.
• More than one game. Private servers and optional games give members something to play between major launches.

How do I join RUIN?

Which games does RUIN play right now?

As of October 2026: World of Warcraft: Forever is the primary operation. World of Warcraft: Midnight is a secondary track. Star Citizen runs through the RUINOUS organization. Valheim and Conan Exiles run on RUIN private servers, and WARDOGS is optional.

Which faction and ruleset is RUIN using in World of Warcraft: Forever?

Alliance, on the North America PvP ruleset. Forever has no realms to choose; you pick a ruleset instead. The game launches November 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM Pacific.

Do I have to play PvP?

No. RUIN is PvP-first, but it also runs a core raid-progression guild for the 10- and 20-player raids in World of Warcraft: Forever, and private servers for Valheim and Conan Exiles.
