SWTOR PC build for under a grand!

Nevalia provides another high performance, low cost computer build tailored for Star Wars: The Old Republic

With the holidays just around the corner and Star Wars: The Old Republic coming out within a month I’ve decided to make another build for you guys. Since my last build was AMD/ATI built, I will be making this Intel/Nvidia for STILL under $1,000. As usual if you are just looking to upgrade some parts to prepare for the holidays you can check this or my previous build depending on your choice of manufacture. Well be prepared, this build is a blow away for the price.

This build will be cased in a very nice NZXT M59. The case is made of full black steel with a nice clear window on the side to view your beautiful new machine. With enough room for 7 hard drives, 4 disk drives, and 2 SSD’s you will have enough for everything up front. The Antec High Current Gamer Series 750W power supply is also mounted on the bottom so you don’t have to worry about it toppling over and ruining your hardware.

Motherboards are in one of the best states they have ever been right now, especially with the newest P67 series boards. So, I hooked you up with a brand new MSI P67-S motherboard to hold down all of your equipment. Unlike my last build this setup can use BOTH 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s hard drives. But why would I leave you with anything but the best? I also added a Western Digital 6Gb/s hard drive which has 750GB of space.

With heavy gaming comes heavy taxing of the processor and ram. I threw in 8 Gigs of G.SKILL Ripjaws Series ram. This will be more than what you need, but its always good to be prepared for the future. Everyone will be glad to know this build includes a 2500K, one of Intel’s best processors. With a 3.7Ghz Turbo Boost you will be loading faster than you have ever loaded a game in your life. In large scale world PvP, you won’t lag at all anymore. This will be more than you are expecting.

But what’s a good build without a bad ass graphics card? The 560Ti is hands down the best card for the money on the market right now. As a dual fan card this will be much cooler than most Nvidia cards which run pretty hot compared to ATI. With such a high core clock and only a few frames lower from even the highest end cards which cost almost double. You can count on this card to keep you in the game and never be blaming the lag.

Overall, this build will make the games of tomorrow run better than you can believe. The 2500k and 560Ti will be a whole new world for you. For ordering as usual I swear by Newegg.com. They have the best prices and some of the greatest customer service around. The parts will be listed below so just add them to your cart and let me know how you like the build! As always, happy gaming!
